<div><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Despite the freedoms granted to the nation the daily Covid related numbers continue to rise – the infected, the hospitalised, the deaths. The numbers of those vaccinated also continues to rise and on this the nations hopes are pinned. That is not the case across large swathes of the globe. Vaccines are available to the small, favoured minority - us! Billions of doses are required before we can say we are in control of this disease. Today’s gospel reading is centred around these words: ‘Where are we to buy bread for these people to eat?’ Jesus says to us ‘You have the means. You can do it because I am with you.’</span>
