DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our special Mothering Sunday service which 
 always takes place on the fourth Sunday of Lent. The service dates back hu
 ndreds of years when traditionally it was a day when children\, mainly dau
 ghters\, who had gone to work as domestic servants were given a day off to
  visit their mother and family and to return to their home or ‘mother’
  church. It is a day when we thank God for the love of our mothers\, and w
 e thank them in person for their care for us.  We are aware of those for w
 hom Mothering Sunday is a painful time and include them in our prayers.\nO
 ur grateful thanks go to Barringtons Funeral Directors for their generous 
 donation of daffodils for our congregation which will be distributed durin
 g the service.
