As you are all aware, current Covid 19 restrictions have made it impossible for us to do any sort of social events/fundraisers for over 12 months.
Hopefully in the Summer we will be able to meet up without restrictions and things can get back to some sort of normality. However, for now, it doesn’t seem right for your safety, and ours, to be planning a summer fair just a couple of weeks after the lifting of restrictions. So, with this in mind, we have decided to cancel the summer fair and concentrate on holding an early summer raffle.
As always, we will have some fantastic prizes, many of which will contribute to the end of lockdown ‘get togethers’ people are planning. Prizes will include our ‘famous’ bumper drinks hamper, and other hampers, including: ‘Gin in a Basket (3 bottles), summer food, afternoon tea, wine, chocolate and baileys. All the hampers will be gift wrapped. There will be other prizes too, including a scooter.
Books of 10 tickets cost £10 per book, £1 per ticket and will be available from Sunday 11 April at 12 noon. You can also pre-order via text or phone with Sharon at 07704 203 409. Books of tickets can be collected from Church on that day, delivered by hand or by post. The draw will take place in the Church hall after Mass on Sunday 9 May. As restrictions will still be in place numbers will be limited, but witnesses will be observing the draw.
Prize winners will be contacted on the day of the draw and where possible prizes can be collected or delivered locally.
We are all aware of the difficulties people have faced during the last 12 months and if you are unable to buy/sell tickets we understand fully.
Many thanks for your continued support!
