DESCRIPTION:Due to rain being forecast on Sunday\, June 8\, 2025\, this se
 rvice (which was originally intended to be on the Parish field in Bickerst
 affe) will be held in our Ministry Centre\, where Christians from the chur
 ches in our cluster (St. Michael’s Aughton\, Holy Trinity Bickerstaffe\,
  St. Mark’s Scarisbrick and St. James’ Westhead) will join together fo
 r Pentecost Sunday celebrations. Our music group will be playing\, special
  guest Bishop Geoff Pearson - former Bishop of Lancaster - will speak\, an
 d there will be craft activities for children following the service. Pleas
 e bring a packed lunch (drinks will be provided) and enjoy fellowship with
  our church families in Aughton\, Bickerstaffe\, Scarisbrick and Westhead.
   \n\nThe Day of Pentecost brings the Easter season to an end. God’s Hol
 y Spirit was given to the disciples after Jesus’ ascension\, empowering 
 them to begin the work of making disciples of all nations.
