DESCRIPTION:Meeting at 11am on Saturday 18th July at St. Thomas’ Church 
 in Lydiate.  We shall have a look around the church before starting our wa
 lk. \n \nThe walk will be just over 1.63 miles  \n \nAs always\, the walks
  are at your own risk\, please wear suitable footwear.  All walks have bee
 n risk assessed but please consider that you are physically able to comple
 te the walk.  Please also consider what equipment you may need for the wal
 k. \n \nWe shall visit parts of Lydiate with great views. \n \nFollowing t
 he walk we shall have lunch at The Running Horses Pub in Lydiate. \n \n \n
 The group meets monthly \n \nAny questions –  ask Edward McCarthy on Edw

 lcome! \n\nRoute\n1. We start at St Thomas' Church in Lydiate we are able 
 to have a look around/tour. Park in their car park.\n2. We walk from the C
 hurch down Church Lane\, we go through the fields. We end up on Altcar Lan
 e.\n3. Altcar Lane until another footpath. Footpaths through the field bac
 k to Mairscough Lane.\n4. Mariscough Lane back to the Church.\n5. From her
 e back to the pub for lunch. We are eating at The Running Horses on Bell's
  Lane in Lydiate.\n6. If you want to eat we can book a table please let Ka
 th know.
