 al Halsall Scarecrows Trail weekend is only around the corner!\n\nThis yea
 r\, the theme is art and artists and you may have already seen some brilli
 ant creations in and around the village around this theme!\n\nFor our scar
 ecrow trail weekend\, we will be selling maps outside Bambers with clues t
 o fill in about the scarecrows. Return your quiz to enter the raffle an vo
 te for your favourite!\n\nMoney raised through sales of the trail maps wil
 l be split between a number of local charities and community groups includ
 ing St Cuthbert's church. The church will also be open throughout the week
 end.\n\nThere are already a number of brilliantly created scarecrow charac
 ters in and around the village but we would love more! So\, if you have an
  inspirational idea\, then create your scarecrow and put it on display!\n\
 nAt the end of the weekend the best scarecrow will be crowned!\n\nThe Hals
 all Scarecrows Festival\, organised by Tara\, Roy and a team of volunteers
 \, is now in its tenth(ish) year\, and aims to bring together the village 
 and the outlying communities.\n\nWe will continue to post updates on our p
