Church of England Diocese of Liverpool St. John, Ainsdale

Church remains open for worship

2 Aug 2021, 7 a.m.

Some good news to share. We are now opening church for a shortened, said Holy Communion service on Sundays and Thursdays.

Please see our services and events tab for timings

As lockdown measures have now eased, under the guidance of the Church of England we no longer require you to pre-book a place in church.

Seating will revert back to our pre-covid style, with seats arranged in rows and cards will be available for you to place beside you if you prefer to still sit on your own. This is to ensure that you feel safe.

We will continue with our rigorous cleaning regime and be asking you to sanitise your hands before you enter. We also ask you to continue to wear a mask (unless you are exempt) out of respect to others.

Our 10:30am Sunday morning service will be livestreamed. Please head over to our Youtube channel to watch. You can also watch previous services and events on our Youtube channel.

We also have an exciting new channel for our younger viewers - "St John's C.E. Church Ainsdale - Rooted in Christ" - an additional service available to view from 8.00am. Please see our main website shown below for more information.

We look forward to seeing you. Don't forget - you can still watch our YouTube services online at any time.

Do stay safe and well, and be assured of my prayers.
