The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) service was first written in 1549. It contains some of the most beautiful language ever penned in early modern English. In it, Archbishop Cranmer sought to encourage believers to know that Jesus, by His sacrifice, could deal with the most debilitating and entrenched problems of human existence. The pinnacle of the service brings us together with Jesus in the celebration of the Passover in the final hours before His arrest and crucifixion. It makes anyone who will believe a partaker in all the benefits and power of His death and resurrection.

The service is shared weekly with the 8.30 am at St. Luke Lowton on the 2nd and 4th Sunday, 5th sundays are either at St Thomas or St. Luke

A family communion with Sunday club for the children and refreshments served afterwards. The communion service is a journey which leads us to reflect on ourselves, and to hear about the amazing things that Jesus can do. The service then takes us into a time prayer for those in need, followed by a time of intimate spirituality where we remember Jesus' last hours on the earth, and the staggering truth of his resurrection. In this we can reflect on the full implications of these momentous events for our own day to day to lives.
