*** Please continue to wear a mask, unless exempt. Those among us who are clinically vulnerable can’t join us safely if we don’t wear masks.

Join us for a Hub Prayer Evening, on Wed 13th October, 7.30pm in St David’s Church – we will be gathering to pray, reflect, and discern, as we ask God for his vision for our churches and communities.

We are holding a Memorial Service this year for the whole Hub, on Sunday 7th November, 3pm in St David’s.
All families who have been bereaved in the past year or so are invited to this special service, whether the funeral took place here or not.
The invitation is also extended to anyone who would value this opportunity to remember and give thanks for loved ones who are no longer with us.

Do pass this invitation on to anyone you wish to.

Our brand new JEDS Pantry (Community Supermarket) is now open, Tuesdays 9am to 11.30am, in St Stephen’s Church.

It’s for everyone! We’re saving food from landfill – being kind to the planet, and saving you money on your food bills too.

Annual membership is £5, and then each week you pay £1.50 for 10 items or £3 for 20.

Donations from supporters mean that anyone who is struggling can be subsidised for either their membership or weekly charge.

Our Churches will be celebrating Harvest Festival soon - St David’s and St Elizabeth’s on 10th, St John’s and St Stephen’s dates are to be confirmed.

Donations will be shared amongst the Pantry, The Brick, the Women’s Refuge, Coops Foyer, and elsewhere.

Each of those recipients would value non-food (toiletries / hygiene / cleaning) items being donated.

And a reminder that our new Sunday service pattern continues…

St David’s and St John’s at 9.15am, St Elizabeth’s and St Stephen’s at 11am, except on the 1st Sunday of the month.

Hub worship on 1st Sundays, at different churches each month – always 10am for 10.30am, and having lunch together afterwards.

All Age Worship at St Elizabeth’s on 2nd Sundays, and at St Stephen’s on 3rd Sundays

Morning Worship at St David’s on 3rd Sundays and at St John’s on 4th Sundays.

Holy Communion on all other Sundays

Sunday School resumes with Beacon at St David’s on 2nd Sundays, and Lighthouse at St Elizabeth’s on 4th Sundays

8am Holy Communion at St Elizabeth’s on 1st and 3rd Sundays.

Finally, I will be on Extended Study Leave (aka Sabbatical) from Mon 4th October until January.

Revd. Steve ([email protected] / 07706 790825) will take the reins, as Acting Hub Leader, ably assisted by Revd. Sandra, Revd. Mike, our Wardens and Finance teams, our Hub Leadership and LML teams, and many more!
