DESCRIPTION:Join us to hear Marion Wynne-Davies talk about the friendship
between Thomas Beriand Isabella Whitney.\n\nThe talk uses the poems writte
n by two friends\, Thomas Beri and Isabella Whitney\, to explore the lives
of young people in London during the 1570s.\n\nWe know something of Thoma
s Beri because he is commemorated in a brass plaque in St Martin’s Ludga

oem\, “Will and Testament\,” the first description of London written b
y a woman.\n\nNOTE: This talk takes place at St Martin Ludgate
