Following instruction from the UK Government and the Church of England there will be no public services held at All Saints or St Nicholas at present.
Even with our buildings closed, the Church - in our homes, in our communities and in each of us as individuals - is still very much alive. Even when we can’t meet together, God is with us.
We are eager to make sure that we are looking after each other as well as we can. Please feel free to contact Rev’d Jane Hodges (Team Rector) by phone (020 7987 8625) or email ([email protected]) or Rev’d Matt Wall (Team Vicar) by phone (07764 823 266) or email ([email protected]) if you would like to talk, need assistance or would like someone to pray for you or with you.
Caring for each other at this time
If you are isolated or housebound let Jane or Matt know so that we can offer pastoral care and prayer. We are working with Neighbours in Poplar, food banks and local health care providers to help those who are isolated and vulnerable.
Worship at Home
As it is not possible for people to worship together, the Church of England apps for Daily Prayer and Reflections are a wonderful resource and unite us in prayer or you can find Daily Prayer on the CofE Website.
Alongside them, we have produced a booklet that has two simple acts of worship for us to use at home. There are some prayers specifically for children on the back page. All these resources and more a listed below.
In addition, we are transmitting services on our Facebook pages for you to watch and join in with at home.
Our service schedule is as follows:
Sunday: 10.30am live-streamed mass.
Tuesday - Friday: 12noon live-streamed mass.
Monday - Friday: recorded night prayer to be uploaded for worship together at 9pm.
