With all that is going on in our world at the moment, including our own preparations to go into lockdown again in England, the opening verse of Psalm 46 ‘God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble’ continues to bring comfort as we are reminded of the faithful love of our Heavenly Father and the daily strength we find as we turn to Him in prayer for our world, others and ourselves during these difficult times.
Although we are not permitted to meet together for services over the next few weeks, churches are allowed to open for private prayer and we will be opening the church on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for you to come and enjoy the peace and space of our church as you pray privately.
We will be open from 2-3pm on Thursday 5th November and next week we will be opening on Monday and Wednesday from 10am – 11am and on Thursday from 2pm-3pm.
You will need to book a space beforehand to attend one of these sessions; please contact the Parish Office on [email protected] and you will be sent a booking link. Also contact the Parish Office for future private prayer dates.
Our Sunday services will continue to be streamed on YouTube and this Sunday will include prayers and a 2 minute silence at 11am to mark Remembrance Sunday. To watch our Sunday service, please go to our YouTube page, St Paul’s Mill Hill, where you will find this and videos of all our other Sunday services.
