Having enjoyed a family fun day and Street party yesterday at 'The Wonder' Public House in Batley Road raising money for The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre, come and join us today for a fantastic cornucopia of worship as we celebrate the feast of the Patron Saint of England, St George. Definitely a weekend not to be missed!!

Today we remember how the Holy Spirit came down upon the Apostles like tongues of fire, and pray that we too might be 'set on fire' with the same Spirit in the unique St Michaels way - and of course there'll be birthday cake! Our Uniformed Organisations will be 'on Parade' too - a day not to be missed!

Today we give thanks for our Fathers and those who act as our Father - and remember too, those of our Fathers whom we have lost in this life but love still, and those Fathers who have lost their children. We also pray for those Fathers who are unfairly denied access to their children. At the end of the service there will be gifts for all the children to give to their Fathers
