 k the beginning of our journey through Lent with this moving evening servi
 ce\, when we are marked with an ash cross on our forehead.  It is a night
  to remember the ways we have all failed to live in loving ways\, and ask
  for God’s forgiveness.  Then\, over the following weeks of Lent\, we s
 eek a deeper understanding of how God calls us to live. \n\nLENT HOME GROU
 PS\nIn Lent\, we are invited to pause and explore how our lives can be sha
 ped more truly by our faith in Jesus Christ.  We reflect Jesus’ own life
  and teachings\, and how we are called to live as followers of Christ.  In
  our Lent Home Groups this year\, we explore the meaning and significance 
 of “The Beatitudes”:  the eight sayings of Christ in Matthew’s Gospe
 l which form the heart of the Sermon on the Mount.  Through Lent\, the Hom
 e Groups meet weekly at the Vicarage:7.30pm on Tuesdays and 1.30pm on Wed
 nesday.  All are welcome to join in\, as and when you can.\n\nHOLY WEEK OB
