The good news: it is now legal for churches to open for private prayer only.
We would love to open the doors for quiet contemplation and prayer in our peaceful building consecrated to God. To do this, we need to assemble a team of volunteers to watch over the church and people. If you are a member of our congregation please consider whether you have a little time to offer for this: it will involve being present in the church to direct people if necessary and a some light clearing up (no heavy duty cleaning!). When we have enough volunteers we shall post opening times. We have tried this once to test the conditions and are sure we may do so again.
"Church on the Phone" is available every Sunday morning at 11am: all you need is a landline or other phone and you can participate in a service including praying together.
Other church services and sermons are being recorded and uploaded to the Brent Deanery youtube channel. Materials are being published on our website and facebook pages. A phone line to listen to sermons and a postal bulletin are available for those not online. For help with this or anything else please call 07958 163211
Funerals are possible at crematoria or at the graveside for burials subject to distancing restrictions. If you wish to arrange a funeral please call 07958 163211.
We are planning our response when public services are legal once again from 4th July.
