DESCRIPTION:On Good Friday we plan to hold Three Hours Devotions in the ch
 urch\, and also partly online and via phone. There will be three one-hour 
 services from 12:00 midday to 1:00\, 1:00 to 2:00 and 2:00 to 3:00\, with 
 a brief gap between services to allow people to come and go. The format is
  as follows:\n12:00 midday: a Service of the Word with Bible readings from
  Luke's Gospel account of the Passion\, and reflections. This service will
  include hymn singing. The Service will also be livestreamed on Zoom for a
 udio and video and can be dialled in via the Church on the Phone line for 
 audio only. \n1:00 pm: Stations of the Cross. We process around the church
  visiting all the "stations" marking events in Jesus' journey to the cross
  and praying at each one. This will also be livestreamed on Zoom.\n2:00 pm
 : Service of Meditations and Reflections: in addition to our Bible reading
 s of the Passion we shall be reflecting on aspects of Jesus' story and wri
 tings and preaching about the events of Easter. This will be a quiet and s
 tatic service - also available on Zoom and Church on the Phone.\n2:00 pm: 
 Activities for children on the Theme of Good Friday. There will be a craft
  table with guidance on making cards and craft items to celebrate Easter. 
 (All three of our services today will be suitable for children and we shal
 l do our best to accommodate people of all ages throughout). \nThere will 
 be tea\, coffee and soft drinks available and hot cross buns will be serve
 d at the beginning of the 2 pm service in church.
