This group meets on the last Wednesday evening of each month, usually in the Church Hall. Activities are very varied to cater for all tastes including, for example, speakers, quizzes, barbecues, boules, outings and walks. A small annual subscription is payable by regular members. Visitors are always welcome for a very small fee.
Aimed particularly at older people and meeting weekly at 2pm on Mondays, Crafties allows people to come together to participate in a range of craft activities such as knitting, embroidery, crochet and adult colouring. Places are limited so please contact the office using the link below if interested.
This is our main sung act of worship at which all are welcome. It includes hymns and ceremonial that vary with the seasons of the church's year.
About once a month, we have a less formal 'all age' service which is particularly suitable for children and young people.. At these services, the music will often be modern and led by a band rather than by our choir and organ.
Children of all ages are always welcome in Church, For babies, toddlers and preschoolers, 'play bags' are located at the back corner of the church and can be taken with you to your seat. During term-time (and unless the service is 'all age') we offer a range of Sunday Clubs in the church hall for school-age children (5-10) and for young people (11-15). Everyone gathers in church for the first part of the service, children leave with their club leaders when invited to do so, and then return to church in time for Communion.
Light refreshments are served after the 10.00am service in the Hall, giving us an opportunity to get to know one another.

Tots Club meets on the first Sunday of the month in The Elsie Fisher Room (in the St Lawrence Centre adjacent to the church) and families with pre-school age children are welcome to join us. It is an informal educational lesson for babies and toddlers with their parents, grandparents or carers. The lesson follows the same theme as the church service but at a level appropriate for young children. We read bible stories, play games and make something crafty to take home. We also sing suitable songs and hymns. Finally, we say a prayer together. It is a great way for young families to meet and chat over a cup of tea, whilst the children are introduced to the word of God. At the age of five the children are then ready to join Sunday Club.
