Church of England Diocese of Manchester Holy Trinity, Coldhurst

About Us

We have been here since 1848 but only our Church Warden John, remembers those days.

Our Vicar Rev'd David Austin only arrived in 2018.

We are a family friendly church & welcome children/babies (& adults too) - you take us as you find us. We believe in a Church that does not discriminate against people on the basis of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, physical or mental abilities. Everyone is welcome here to worship and to share in the life of this Parish. We don't stand on ceremony - apart from at the altar. We love our area & love our Worship - we are informal in a 'Low Catholic' style with set liturgy and traditional hymns.. We are committed to serving the area including the two primary schools in the vicinity.

Contact the Vicar regarding baptisms/christenings, weddings, funerals and other pastoral services.

Our Children / Vulnerable Adults Safeguarding Officer is Katie Boswell in case you have any worries about anyone using our services or premises - email: [email protected]  07779555755   or the Vicar.  The Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor is Abbey Clephane-Wilson email: [email protected],anglican.org  0161 828 1451
