DESCRIPTION:Heritage Open Days 2025\nEveryone is welcome to join us for a 
 circular walk starting at 10am on Saturday 20th September from St Paul's c
 hurch in Norden. \nWe will walk down the Naden valley to St James' church 
 in Ashworth. Our route then takes us through the country lanes to St Micha
 el's church Bamford\, returning to St Paul's via more local by-ways and si
 de streets\, allowing us to thoroughly explore the rich architectural heri
 tage of our area.  \nThe route is fairly flat\, just over 5 miles\, on foo
 tpaths\, tracks and roads. Good footwear and appropriate clothing is neede
 d.\nInformation and displays about the buildings (and a brew of course) wi
 ll be available at each church.\nWhen we get back to St Paul's\, light ref
 reshments will be available from our servery and we will be entertained by
  St Michael's school choir at 2pm.\nDuring the walk there will be a Treasu
 re Hunt style investigation of the local industrial and architectural heri
 tage led by our local historian.
