Church of England Diocese of Manchester Christ Church Ashton under Lyne

Holy Communion

3 Sep 2020, 12:15 p.m.

Friends, Just a reminder that Church has recommenced Holy Communion at 11am for the time being. This slightly later start time allows for the church to be properly prepared for you.  The service is about 25 minutes in duration.  Face coverings are required, unless exempt.  Those of the same household or bubble may sit together.  Marshall's will direct you to a seat.   Please do not change seat. There are some paper copies of the service which are for those seated in such a place where they are unable to view the screens. Government advice is to keep services brief, not to socialise, and to disperse promptly as directed by the Marshall's.

Also to remind you there will be a similarly brief service each Wednesday at 5pm. This is aimed to replace the Sunday 8am service for the foreseeable future.

School admission attendances for Canon Burrows and Canon Johnson school can be recorded at either Sunday or Wednesday services.

Recording attendance for Bluecoats School, Crompton House and other secondary faith schools recommenced 1 September 2020.

Occasionally Morning / Evening Prayer may be offered if Holy Communion is not possible

Revd. David.
