Away from Home Children”

St James’ Daisy Hill support the Children's Society in several ways and as Christmas approaches we turn our thoughts to Away from Home Children. Young people who have run away from home for many various reasons the society tries to keep them from harm, give them shelter and help them on their way to a more secure life.

There are many many thousands of of children in this predicament & we realise you are always beIng asked for help at this time of year but we hope you agree that this cause is worthy of our help.

To help this cause we invite you to donate gifts of simple toiletries, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel and deodorants etc. These will be given as Christmas presents to the children otherwise they wouldn't get anything at all.

Donations of Toiletries can be delivered to the church on Saturday 5th of December between10am and 12 noon when the church is open for Grub Tub donations  or on Sunday 13th December 10am to 11.00am when the church will be open for private prayer or a service.

Should you not be able to deliver donations please contact us via the Get in touch tab on the left

Please will you help ?

Thank-you . Alison Barbara Margaret & Judith .
