Everyone is welcome to join us whether it would be you first visit or your hundred and first.

Click on MORE INFO to find a link full of explanations and information to make your first visit to a church event more comfortable.

Our doors are open from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon on the first Saturday of each month to welcome people to come and enjoy a chat and a cup of tea, or a quiet time to themselves.

A good time for visits to the churchyard spend some quiet personal time in the church, enjoy refreshments and use the toilet facilities.

An In-church service commencing at 10am on Sunday

The hymns and readings for this service are available in the Weekly Pewsheet - posted under the Notices tab on the left.

The second Sunday of each month is a family service which may not include Holy Communion

Wiggle Worship has come to Daisy Hill and is on Wednesday every week during term time 9am – 10am

A quiet said service lasting 30 to 40 minutes with no hymns sung. The traditional words of the Book of Common prayer are used, large print service booklets are available.

Refreshments are available after the service providing an opportunity for a chat and fellowship, we often linger for an hour, making new friends, enjoying each others company and news.

This weekly service is supported by a rota of members of the clergy who each bring something different to the service.

Polar Express Film night and Family Christmas Bingo

Both events will be held in St James Church Daisy Hill

The PTFA of St James Primary School are having two events in December, a Family film night with the film Polar Express on Saturday 9th December 2023, 6PM in church. Secondly they will also be running a family bingo night on Friday 15th December at 6.00 PM.

All are welcome to both events, please help support our school PTFA.

St James School Daisy Hill will hold their Carol Service in St James Church on the 19th of December at 9.15am. To visit the school website for details click on MORE INFO below

There will not be a service at Daisy Hill church at 10:30am on Wednesday 27th December, however, please join us on the 3rd of January 2024 … the kettle will be on duty for refreshments following the service.
