Snods Edge, Shotley Bridge
We meet for worship at 10:30am every Sunday, come rain, snow or pandemic - even if during lockdown this had to be done virtually. Now that some normality has returned, we are back in person, and all are welcome to attend without any need to pre-notify us. We do ask that you wear a face-covering when entering and moving around the building, and as yet, sadly, we have not yet felt able to resume congregational singing.
On most Sundays we celebrate the Eucharist (using Common Worship Order One). During our Vicar's sick leave, on the third Sunday of the month we offer a Service of the Word instead, in which we will be working meditatively through St Mark's Gospel.
We cannot at the moment offer any dedicated children's sessions or Sunday School, but we are very used to, and delighted by, having children of any age in church, and if their attention wanders there are some resources at the back which you are very welcome to explore with them.
Please join us outside the Church Hall for tea, coffee and something tasty after each week's service.
