<div><div>When we are shocked ......</div></div><div><div>We are shocked by the pandemic death toll, shocked that family and friends cannot meet together to grieve or hold the hands of the dying, shocked by the rate of infection, shocked by stories of the heavy workload of the medical professionals, shocked by the stories from funeral directors and key-workers and all who are supporting them in their work, shocked by stories of isolation, financial hardship and brokenness.......</div></div>

<span style="font-size: 1rem;">God is in the shocks in our lives.</span>

<div><div>In our shock, grant us the courage and perseverance to be good neighbours to those in need. </div></div>

<span style="font-size: 1rem;">We pray for all who are suffering and bereaved.</span>

<div><div>At this time of sorrow, incomprehension and tragedy, we stand together.</div></div>
