Just a few FYI points:We'll be doing teas/coffees and biscuits in the interval this time, so no need to bring your own refreshments (though do feel able to if you wish).
We'll most likely set up in exactly the same way as last time, with plenty of ventilation, some social distancing and outdoor seating available - do wrap up (depending on the weather). If you wish to bring your own seat, that's fine. There'll be an opportunity to donate harvest produce to The People's Kitchen (this can also be brought on Sunday 3rd, but it would be nice to have some items to display in the hall on the Saturday so please bring gifts to the Singsong if possible). Our seasonal sheaf will be in place too!
NB The People's Kitchen have indicated that they 'already have high volumes of some items, particularly pasta, baked beans, and full sized boxes of cereal', so perhaps best to avoid those. We're also incorporating a mini-fundraiser for the work of St John's as part of the event to coincide with Newcastle Generosity Week - there'll be a reminder about this in the hymn sheet and during the interval (perhaps with an emphasis on giving by text - a bit like we did for the Festive Fundraiser on Zoom last year).
Please do come along (and generally spread the word)! All very much welcome. 🎤
