This new short video from the Church of England highlights that despite all the differences this year, we still celebrate the coming of Christ.  Despite coronavirus and a year that has been very different from any we have ever previously known, God's message of Comfort and Joy remains unchanged.

Services from the cathedral are streamed regularly, and include the following Advent and Christmas services,  which can be accessed on the Newcastle Cathedral YouTube pageNote that this page does not show the forthcoming services, but if you connect at the appropriate time the current service will be found, along with recordings of previous services, including daily Advent reflections.

     24th December at  6:00pm:   A service of Nine Lessons and Carols

     24th December at 11:30pm:  Midnight Mass with sermon from the Dean

     25th December at 11:00am:   Eucharist for Christmas Day 

     25th December at  4:00pm:    Festal Choral Evensong

The national church hosts a Worship at Home service every Sunday morning at 09:00 on its YouTube channel.  All national Worship at Home services are listed on their Church Online webpage.  In addition there are a number of special Christmas Worship at Home services, including the following:

     Midnight Mass with the Archbishop of Canterbury on Christmas Eve at 11:30pm
