DESCRIPTION:This is a short\, dramatic service\, in preparation for Easter
  day.  The Church is in darkness as the special Easter candle (Paschal can
 dle) is blessed and lit from a small fire outside the church. The candle i
 s then carried in procession to the Chancel. \nEach member of the congrega
 tion is given a small candle\, which is lit from the Paschal candle\; to s
 ymbolise Christ lighting the world through us. We will all renew our bapti
 sm promises during the service and celebrate the Good News\, that Jesus is
  risen.
