 celebrate the bond between humans and animals with prayers\, readings and 
 treats. We love to meet your furry or scaly friends and give them a blessi
 ng. St Francis \,who is patron saint of animals\, is celebrated for his pr
 ofound love for nature and his belief that all living creatures are creati
 ons of God and deserve to be treated with kindness. So do join us on Peter
 ’s patch if dry or the church hall if it is wet to celebrate the diversi
 ty of our pets and the joy they bring us. We always start our gathering wi
 th drinks\, biscuits and cake as we get to know each other. Please bring a
 ll well-behaved pets . We have had dogs\, cats\, hens\, snakes\, tortoises
  not to mention stick insects. All are welcome.
