DESCRIPTION:Have you ever thought about being confirmed\, or do you know a
 nyone who might wish to be confirmed?.....and what is confirmation anyway?
 \nConfirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the 
 promises that were made when they were baptised. If you were baptised at a
  Christening when you were a child\, your parents and godparents made thes
 e promises on your behalf. As a young person or adult\, you may be ready t
 o affirm these promises for yourself and commit your life to following Jes
 us Christ. At a confirmation service\, you make these promises for yoursel
 f. We hope that your friends and family\, as well as the local Christian c
 ommunity\, will be there to promise to support and pray for you.\nA prepar
 ation group for confirmation will be run during the early summer and the s
 ervice will be held at St Peter’s Church\, Raunds on Sun 21st September
