DESCRIPTION:Mosaic Guitar Ensemble was formed in 2012\, when a group of li
 ke-minded classical guitar enthusiasts began looking for a more intensive 
 and progressive guitar ensemble. Under the direction of Chris Stell they s
 ought to expand on the musical achievements gained at various guitar festi
 vals and workshops and the result\, "Mosaic" came together with a shared p
 assion for the guitar in ensemble. Amanda Cook took over the baton in Janu
 ary 2024 and they continue to perform repertoire to a high standard\, and 
 give concerts raising funds for charity.\n\nCurrent Members: Musical Direc

 ire for our Chalton concert represents music across time. One highlight is
  the first public performance of The Space Between Us by Christopher Stell
 . This was written during Covid lockdown for the group. In 8 parts\, each 
 of which is allocated to players by name\, the piece reflects on the peopl
 e and things we were missing. It look forward to a time when people would 
 be able to meet again and was originally titled For A New Beginning.\n\nRe
