DESCRIPTION:On Good Friday\, our churches become stripped and empty\, focu
 sing only on the Cross and all that it means. Join us\, and Christians thr
 oughout the world\, as we gather at the foot of the Cross and pray for the
  world and ourselves.\n\nFrom 1pm\, you are invited to reflect on the cros
 s. An hour of silent prayer will be interspersed with four reflections on 
 the cross.\n\nAt 2pm\, we will gather for the Liturgy of the Cross\, as we
  hear the events of the first Good Friday recounted from John’s Gospel. 
 The cross is processed through the church\, reminding us of Jesus' own jou
 rney to Golgotha.\n\nSt Faith's will also hold a Liturgy of the Cross at 2
 pm.\n\nSt Mary's 2pm service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page (ht
 tps://www.facebook.com/PortseaParish) and YouTube channel (https://youtu.b
