Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray during the 10 days between Ascension and Pentecost. What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England, has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer. We focus on praying for people to come to know Jesus Christ. The wave of prayer culminates with events on Pentecost Sunday around the world. There are prayer resources for adults and for children you can download for free or purchase in hard copy here:

During this period All Saints Church, Ryde and St John the Baptist Church Ryde will be joining together, via ZOOM, each day to pray at 4pm.

If you have a computer/laptop/tablet or a smartphone it is really easy to join in. The person who is organising the 'meeting' just sends you a link in an email. You click on it and that is all there is to it. If you are on a phone, we just give you a number to call at the right time.

If you would like to join us, please send an email to Rev Sue. [email protected]

If you can’t join us on a computer or phone but would still like to be part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayers in Ryde, then pause each day at 4.15pm and say the Lord's Prayer. This is the time when it will be said as part of the Daily Prayer session.
