Hymns Old & New\n\n172 Fill your hearts with joy and gladness\n691 Thy
 Kingdom come O God\n347 Jesus Calls us O'er the Tumult\n636 The Church's
  One Foundation\n\nThe Collect \n\nAlmighty God\,\nwhose Son revealed in s
igns and miracles\nthe wonder of your saving presence:\nrenew your people
with your heavenly grace\,\nand in all our weakness \nsustain us by your m
ighty power\;\nthrough Jesus Christ your Son our Lord\,\nwho is alive and
reigns with you\nin the unity of the Holy Spirit\, one God now and for eve
 r.\n \nReadings Genesis 14.17-20\; Revelation 19.6-10\; John 2.1-11\
n\nGenesis 14.17-20\nAfter Abram's return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer
and the kings who were with him\, the king of Sodom went out to meet him a
t the Valley of Shaveh (that is\, the King’s Valley). And King Melchized
ek of Salem brought out bread and wine\; he was priest of God Most High.
He blessed him and said\,\n‘Blessed be Abram by God Most High\, \n ma
ker of heaven and earth\;\nand blessed be God Most High\,\n who has del
ivered your enemies into your hand!’\nAnd Abram gave him one-tenth of ev
erything.\n\nRevelation 19.6-10\nThen I heard what seemed to be the voice
of a great multitude\, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of
mighty thunder-peals\, crying out\,\n‘Hallelujah!\nFor the Lord our God
\n the Almighty reigns.\nLet us rejoice and exult\n and give him the
glory\,\nfor the marriage of the Lamb has come\,\n and his bride has m
ade herself ready\;\nto her it has been granted to be clothed\n with fi
ne linen\, bright and pure’—\nfor the fine linen is the righteous deed
s of the saints.\nAnd the angel said to me\, ‘Write this: Blessed are th
ose who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’ And he said to
me\, ‘These are true words of God.’ Then I fell down at his feet to wo
rship him\, but he said to me\, ‘You must not do that! I am a fellow-ser
vant with you and your comrades who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship G
od! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.’\n\nJohn 2.1-1
1\nOn the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee\, and the mothe
r of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the
wedding. When the wine gave out\, the mother of Jesus said to him\, ‘Th
ey have no wine.’ And Jesus said to her\, ‘Woman\, what concern is tha
t to you and to me? My hour has not yet come.’ His mother said to the se
rvants\, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ Now standing there were six stone
water-jars for the Jewish rites of purification\, each holding twenty or
thirty gallons. Jesus said to them\, ‘Fill the jars with water.’ And t
hey filled them up to the brim. He said to them\, ‘Now draw some out\, a
nd take it to the chief steward.’ So they took it. When the steward tast
ed the water that had become wine\, and did not know where it came from (t
hough the servants who had drawn the water knew)\, the steward called the
bridegroom and said to him\, ‘Everyone serves the good wine first\, and
then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have ke
pt the good wine until now.’ Jesus did this\, the first of his signs\, i
n Cana of Galilee\, and revealed his glory\; and his disciples believed in
him. \n\nWe pray for all who live and work in Beckford Road\, Birmingham
Road\, Cliff Road\, Mornington Road\, St Mary's Road and the parish of All
Saints\, Gurnard.\n\nSee attached Sunday Notes\n\nAll are welcome to our
family friendly services that last approximately 1 hour and are live strea
med on YouTube. Well behaved dogs are welcome.\nRefreshments are served af
 terwards.
