As our quarantine is due to be lifted on Tuesday 30th June I ask for prayers for the future. News articles are predicting more infection as the government tries to allow the economy to reactivate and people feel like we're coming out of this. The prognosis could be very grim. I add a link of one such article for your information and prayers. Apparently the president is going to speak around lunch time today. I'll be in touch if there's anything to add.
Pray as I decided what to do about the future of Shalom. Considering the limitations of remote therapies and the risks of children and families returning to the building, all in a situation where Shalom parents are facing unemployment and health issues.
I had this scripture in my daily reading then came across it again in a facebook post.
MIcah 6: 8
He has shown you, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
Pray that all who have to make decisions at this time can do so with mercy and justice close by.
