Toilet Twinning at St Mary's

Toilets save lives!

St Mary’s PCC are supporting the Toilet Twinning programme organised by Tearfund. By donating £60 to twin each of our two toilets (total £120) we will help fund projects in poor communities that will enable families to build a basic toilet, have access to clean water and learn about hygiene – a vital combination that saves lives.

When we twin, we’ll receive framed certificates to hang in each loo – showing a photograph of our overseas toilet twins and GPS coordinates so you can look up our twins’ locations on Google Maps!

By helping in this way, we at St Mary’s will be demonstrating the third Mark of Mission, ‘to respond to human need by loving service.’, and hope it encourages all users of the John Fryth Room toilets to think about twinning their own toilet(s) at home.

To enable us at St Mary’s to twin our two toilets, for which our target is £120, please make a donation via our online giving site.
