  Garston\, thier Patronal Festival. November 1st 10.30 \n\nThe church is o
 n the northwestern edge East Garston\, and is basically late Norman with a
  later south aisle\, south porch and north chancel chapel. Around the nort
 h and east side of the churchyard is a chalk (cob) wall. The church was gr
 eatly altered by several Victorian architects\, particularly with the addi
 tion of new windows (and high quality stained glass) and stencilling and p
 aintings on the walls. The chancel and adjoining chapel were rebuilt by JW
  Hugall in 1875 and the nave restored by E Christian in 1882.
