  favourite drink. Carol Sheets provided.\n \n *    On Saturday 20th Decemb
 er 2025 at 6:30pm \, we are holding "The Longest Night " \, A metal carol 
 service in church. A chance to explore a love of heavy music and the Chris
 tian faith .\n \n *  We are holding a Candlelit Carol Service at St.Paul's
  with refreshments at  6pm on Sunday 21st December 2025. \n \n* We are hol
 ding   "Carols in the Park"  in Meersbrook Park Walled Garden again  at 6p
 m on  Monday 22nd December 2025 -    The entrance to the garden is  via th
 e entrance near Meersbrook Hall \, and then up  and right on the path towa
 rds the entrance. It will be dark \, so please ensure that you bring torch
 es  or phones with you \, and dress to withstand the weather ( let's hope 
 it's dry) .  You can download a copy of the carol sheet from here  but we 
 will have some copies to give out. At this time of year we take donations 
 for charities - HARC ( Homeless and rootless at Christmas ) and the Childr
 en's Society \, so there will be a couple of buckets around for whatever y
 ou are able to give.\n\n*  *  Our Midnight Communion service  this year wi
 ll take place at St. Chad's Church ( off Abbey Lane ) from 11:30 pm  Wedne
 sday 24th 2025.\n\n*  Christmas morning Service  \, Family Communion \, at
