DESCRIPTION:We feel incredibly lucky to be welcoming Tom Hutchinson back t
 o his home city as part of the St Andrew's Music Festival. Tom began learn
 ing the cornet at the age of nine and his ensuing career in brass bands\, 
 including the world famous Black Dyke Brass Band\, has brought many awards
 . Now\, as well as playing principal cornet with the Cory Band\, he is a P
 rofessor of Cornet at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.\n\nTom w
 ill be leading a public masterclass in the afternoon\, which will see four
  brass players or groups get the chance to perform and get some expert adv
 ice from Tom. Tickets for the workshop are available just like the concert
