St Margaret’s and St Thomas’ Church
Weekly notice sheet
Sunday 5th April 2020
Welcome to the new format of the weekly notice sheet during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
A word from the vicar Revd Phil Warman
Just a quick message at this time to share that at present we’re trying to ensure no-one stays out of the loop. We are therefore getting in touch and checking that we’ve the right contact details and preferences for everyone.
Secondly I’m wanting to remind us of the encouragement of reading the psalms. These songs/prayers in the bible are written from the heart in the midst of joy, sorrow and anguish. They’re from a people who know that God is their Shepherd and they’re his flock. Immersing ourselves in these prayers reminds us of the joy of knowing our God who is good and whose love is eternal. We can pour out our heart to him.
Finally the zoom app is a great way of staying in touch. Help for this can be found on our website’s Handy guide to zoom page. https://www.brightsideandwincobankparish.org.uk/handyguidetousingzoom.htm
Do get in touch if you have any questions about getting set up.
Every blessing, Phil
