Taking into account the spread of COVID-19, the new national lockdown, and episcopal advice the Parochial Church Council this week passed a resolution suspending on site worship at St Mary's for the foreseeable future. This means that there will be no in-person services at St Mary's this weekend (and indeed until further notice).

The text of the resolution was based on a template provided by the Diocese, and notes that PCC expects to review this decision at the 10th February PCC meeting. The present notion is that the suspension should last for as long as the national lockdown endures.

During January, we will be offering a weekly online service of Evening Prayer at 6:30pm, on Google Meet. Please send a message on this site or opt in to our weekly eNews to receive the link to join this. Google Meet is free to use and runs in your internet browser and/or on the free Meet app. If you live in or near the parish and cannot take part online, we will be happy to send you a copy of the prayer service so that you can read along at home.

We encourage those who wish to take part in an online eucharist to join with one of our partner parishes: St Mark's Broomhill meet on Zoom at 10am each Sunday, and St John's Ranmoor meet on Zoom and via Facebook Live at 10:30am.

We continue our online coffee hour each Sunday at midday (on Google Meet).
