Building on the success of last year's Socially Distant Staycation Summer Club, St Lawrence Church in Hatfield are launching a summer of science to make sure local children have an amazing summer holiday. It will be a hub of activities, games and ideas for families to use over the 6 weeks holiday, both at home, on zoom, and out in our local community.

This year we are hosting some “Family Thursdays” where our Barn Field (or church building) will be open for the day to drop in and take part in fun activities together. Those who have signed up will get free entry to all these days.

No it won't be a conventional holiday club (the children will still at home with you most of the time!), but we hope it will spread some joy into your lives both as children and parents! Plus you can fit it around your other summer plans.

Each week we will have a different science theme to explore and see how faith links in with it. There will be a "Find the missing element" Trail around the local area, as well as zoom sessions and more to take part in. Each child to register will receive a welcome pack filled with activities, gifts and goodies. Places cost £10 per child (yes just £10 for 6 weeks of fun!).
