Meet Our Lord and Saviour in the eucharist , spend thirty minutes in prayer and quiet reflection. This week all at S. Leonards unless otherwise stated. The restrictions that have been in place for many months will be lifted from 19.7.2021, but the government urges caution. Because you don't have to wear a mask does not mean that you cannot wear a mask if it makes you feel safer. Public health, Doncaster recommends that we continue to wear a mask in confined areas and on public transport, that we maintain social distancing when possible and that we wash hands regularly. For all of us it is a matter of choice and we should respect the views of those whose views differ from our own. The Church is open for private prayer most days. Father David is now dividing his time between the parish and a new post as Missioner to the The Society, this means that on some days he will be away from the parish. A consequence of this is that there will be a Mass most days, but not everyday and some acts of worship will be lay led. The Mass times this week are as follows, Monday 9.30am (at S. Luke's, Broachgate, Scawthorpe), Tuesday 7pm, Wednesday 9.30am, Thursday 12noon and Sunday will be a Sung Mass at 10.30am.
A new venture that will discuss various activities to take place over the coming months and hopefully plan for the future in organising a beer festival to be held in the church grounds around the time of the patronal festival. More information will follow when details of any activities become available.
