DESCRIPTION:It is a great sadness that this will be the final act of publi
 c worship to be held at St. Luke's before the church closes. The church bu
 ilding and the adjoining bungalow are about sixty years old and in need of
  many repairs that will cost a great deal of money. The Church has for man
 y years been used for Mass once a week usually attracting six to eight peo
 ple. This being the case the Diocese\, who own the property are not prepar
 ed to invest the six figure sum required to bring it up to a reasonable st
 andard.
