DESCRIPTION:On Saturday February 21st\, we will be serving soup for lunch 
 from 12 noon to 2 pm in the church – which will be warm and welcoming!  
 Do come and join us for tasty soup\, bread\, coffee and biscuits and a cha
 nce to catch up with friends.  This is free\, but donations for our Charit
 y of the Year will be welcome.  If you would like to volunteer to make som
 e soup\, please send us a message by using the "Get in touch" tab.\n\nOur 
 Charity of the Year 2026 is Pasic whose aim is to support families in the 
 East Midlands through a childhood cancer diagnosis.  As you may know\, a l
 ittle boy in the village is undergoing treatment for Leukaemia at QMC and 
 Pasic have been there for him and his family since he was diagnosed last y
 ear.  Its team of support workers know his love of animals\, so they’ve 
 surprised him with farm activity books on days when he’s needed a pick-m
 e-up on the ward.\n\nWe are raising funds for Pasic during the year\, and 
 a cheque will be presented to the charity at our Carol Service in December
 .
