DESCRIPTION:There will be no 9:30 am service on Sunday\, but we would like
  to extend a welcome to everyone to come along to our Harvest Festival ser
 vice at 5 pm.  As a rural community\, it is good to celebrate Harvest Fest
 ival – to give thanks for all that is produced and to acknowledge all th
 e hard work during the year by our local farmers.  We welcome your flowers
  in the church and gifts of tins and dry food for the Carpenter’s Arms. 
  This year\, the service will be led by Sue Waterston.\n\nAfter the servic
 e\, the congregation will be invited to stay for a glass of wine and canap
 és.  As usual\, the Collection at our Harvest Festival service will be fo
 r our Charity of the Year\, which this year is Pasic whose aim is to suppo
 rt families in the East Midlands through a childhood cancer diagnosis.  As
  you may know\, little Gabriel Johnson at Cedars Farm is undergoing treatm
 ent for Leukaemia at QMC and Pasic have been there for Gabriel and his fam
 ily since he was diagnosed last year.
