DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday (from the word 'mandatum'\, ‘commandment’\
, because of the Jesus' bidding that we love one another has he loves us)
contains a rich complex of themes: humble Christian service expressed thro
ugh Christ’s washing of his disciples’ feet\, the institution of the E
ucharist\, the perfection of Christ’s loving obedience through the agony
of Gethsemane. Following the washing of one another's hands as a sign of
service and Holy Communion\, the altar table will be stripped in silence
and we will be invited to remain in quiet vigil in the Garden of Gethseman
 e. An Order of Service can be downloaded here.
