In line with government guidance, churches are now able to consider re-opening for private prayer only, providing they meet strict criteria on social distancing and providing a safe environment.
At the moment, we are completing a risk assessment, and members of the standing committee have completed a site visit. This work will then be sent to members of the PCC in order for a decision on opening to be made.
If approval is given, there will be some routine work such as cleaning and also appropriate signage to be sorted prior to been able to open. We will of course keep you all updated and if the church is to open, will advertise the relevant information and guidance on here.
There will be no church services or refreshments such as tea or coffee available if the church does reopen for prayer.
Please bear with us as we complete this work.
