The Cut lers were possibly the most eminent couple who have ever lived in Silkston e Parish\, Lady Magdelen was a direct descendent of Henry VII and her husb and a prominent supporter of Charles I.\n\nWe serve filter coffee\, a sele ction of teas\, homemade cakes and Canon Hall farm shop currant teacakes w ith home made jam in the chancel of our ancient parish church. As well a s selling tempting drinks and cake there is a wealth of information in Sil kstone church concerning the rich history of the parish. \n\nEveryone is v ery welcome to enjoy sampling our food and drink\, meet up with family and friends and to discovering more about village history.
