DESCRIPTION:Because the birth of Our Lord happened at night it is traditio
nal to have a Mass at or near midnight\, this is one of the most important
services within the Christian Church. It also for some churches marks the
point at which the Christmas season actually begins. Because many of our
congregation don't want to be out late at night our Mass is held at 8:30pm
and follows the traditional pattern of readings and carols with Holy Comm
union. Everybody is welcome to attend\, whether you are a confirmed member
of the Church of England or not.
