 ed\, a bright cloud overshadowed them\, and a voice from heaven declared: 
 “This is my beloved Son\, with whom I am well pleased\; listen to Him.
 ” (Matthew 17:5)\n\nThe Transfiguration revealed Christ's divine nature 
 and glory\, strengthened the faith of the disciples\, and foreshadowed His
  Resurrection. The feast celebrates Jesus as the Son of God and reminds Ch
 ristians of their call to be transformed by God's grace.
